LASK suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to AEK on matchday one, extending their winless run in UEFA group/league phase matches to nine games. Domestically, they fell to a 2-0 home defeat against SK Rapid, dropping further off the pace in the Austrian Bundesliga. Despite this, they had not lost a home match since February prior to that reversal.

Liverpool opened their European campaign under Andoni Iraola with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Atlético Madrid. The Reds have historically dominated group stage fixtures, winning 25 of their last 29 such matches in the competition.
-
Key & Missing Players: LASK are sweating on the fitness of Moses Usor and George Bello, who both picked up injuries at the weekend. Liverpool remain without Cody Gakpo, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Alexander Isak.
Head-to-head – Last meetings

Why we’re backing it
LASK’s heavy reliance on home form faces its sternest test against a formidable European outfit. Historical trends highlight the immense difficulty Austrian clubs face against English opposition, a barrier that has stood since 1991. With Liverpool eager to respond positively after their domestic slip-up and holding a stellar record on the road in the Champions League group stage, backing the Reds to cover a multi-goal margin presents solid value.
